the sad thing is... i could do this every day
from today's indy star story about indiana beach changing ownership:

Fe changes are in immediately store for the Indiana Beach operation, Spackman family spokesman Tom Spackman Jr. told the Herald Journal.

there's no way this sentence passed an editor's desk. and this story was posted at 9:12a.m., more than two hours ago.

oops, never mind, it seems to work properly now. basically, there was a large ad in between the reporter's first and last names when i first visited the page. ¶

ah, bowzer. i almost posted something about bowzer visiting the statehouse, kidnapping the princess, and taking her back to his castle.

but that joke wouldn't really be worthy of its own post unless it had a photoshopped graphic to go with it, and i just don't have time... ¶

I used to screenshot and save them all, but the practice was starting a lot of space on my desktop.

There was a glaring typo in the print and online versions of last Sunday's "Behind Closed Doors" column -- the word "two" where "too" was called for. ¶
